Great Chefs sought to create an online platform that aggregated nearly 700 broadcast episodes, hundreds of chefs, and thousands of recipes from the acclaimed Great Chefs TV show that aired in the US between the 1980’s and 2000’s. Our developers worked closely with the Great Chefs team, as well as our design partners, to assist them with branding and a complete overhaul of their website and eCommerce store. The project was certainly a tall order, with the need for embedded video on every recipe page, tagging and searching of recipes based on ingredients, cuisine type, and chef, and the need for Great Chefs to continually add content and self-manage their solution. In the end, we were able to deliver a beautiful, content-rich, and scalable solution that met all of Great Chefs’ needs, and allowed them to improve and update their content daily.
